Four years today, probably around this time, I found out Michael Jackson the King of Pop had died. It was such a shock because he was a famous talented performer whose music was constantly played in my household when growing up. My mum is a massive fan, hence why she owns this t-shirt that I stole, she also probably owns every album he has ever released.

I teamed my mum’s vintage MJ t-shirt with a pair of vintage Gap shorts that were originally bought as chinos, until I cut them to shorts. I also decided to wear purple lipstick to match the purple in the t-shirt, a change from my usual bright red.

If the weather weren’t as hot today I probably would have worn black ankle pipe trousers with white socks a famous fashion trademark by MJ.
